Issue with database configuration

I keep getting errors about a failed login while this login has full system administrator rights in CRM and full access in SQL Server (windows authentication). I never had any issues with this user for all kinds of plug-ins. The same user has been used for registerign the plug-in.

How should I configure the Database Server configuration? I tried also creating a new SQL user login, but then I get a HTTP status 401: Unauthorized, even when the CRM Server is still set at the CRM system administrator user.

And, should the CRM USer Id also include the domain name?

I had the same issue. Removing the "DOMAIN\" in your CRM User Id should fix it. 

If not, the CRM user does not have enough priviliges.
